Puget Sound Energy is an example of a company that’s focused on moving forward and transitioning into the modern age. Prior to my arrival, they were sending out emails over 1000px wide that were developed by non-designers and coders inside of email tools such as Exact Target or Constant Contact. They were basic, often messy and so tedious to read on a mobile device. Not only was I able to step in and resize their emails into something mobile clients could serve and read properly, I was able to redesign it according to brand standards that exceeded expectations.

Although PSE didn’t quite have the bandwidth in their communications department to design all their emails according to this standard, this was the preferred and only utilized for critical, high visibility emails.
